6 | Name: Tucson Brio 8 out of 10 (hot) Gait is country pleasure extension, but also very exact and rapid. Height - over 14hh as a 2 year old (was 2 in June '08) should mature 14.3 (can get photos of measuring stick for people serious about large Paso Finos) Double homozygous!!! Tobiano pinto and black 20 years of specializing in Pinto Paso Fino genetics has resulted in this large and powerful colt with a consistent pleasure gait, beauty, size, and brio. In addition to all of those traits he brings the genetics of being homozygous tobiano and homozygous black. This means that when bred to chestnut mares that do not carry the agouti gene he will produce black and white tobiano pinto offspring. Tucson's pinto pattern and deep rich black coat are simply the added bonus of color on an already very nice colt. |
Prices in the paso fino breed and the equine world vary much from horse to horse, depending on amount of training, gait, style, elegance, show points, ownership, registration, current all-over body condition and happiness, and use of the horse at the time of sale. The safest way for the buyer is to bid a fair amount for the horse's quality at the time of sale, by referring to a sure category or price range the horse belongs to, according to an expert paso fino appraisal. The system we use is a reference tool only, to place the horse in its due category, taking into account the background and easiness to ride of the horse, against the current, lower marketability values. Feel free to offer within the range indicated, some owners will even accept your lower bids, outside the range, some will not, but they will always respect offers within the following range system: * 1K-6K ** 6-12K *** 12-35K **** 35K & up |

| Have you ever owned a stallion? Are you
ready for a stallion? Not everyone is. But when you are, it it the most rewarding
and pleasurable experience. Stallions have a heart. Stallions in this breed
are gentle, magic, powerful and giving, and easy to handle, when very carefully
selected based on their previous training and daily handling. Not all paso
studs are easy. Our paso fino stallions do represent the finest in the breed.
They can be ridden on trails with mares and other stallions, bred and shown,
with no problem. Many times, they are easier and gentler than paso fino geldings
out there on the market. But you need to have separate living quarters for
your stallion and only turn him out alone, or pasture him separately from
the herd.
You need a firm, consistent and loving hand, and a confident attitude as a horseman or horsewoman, or he will outsmart you, like any kid. |
